Beaver Creek State Park lies north of East Liverpool and adds woods, creek scenery, trails, and historic canal remains to a day that might otherwise be all downtown masonry and pottery. It is especially useful if you are travelling with someone who needs a walk after the museum.
The park is not unique enough to carry East Liverpool by itself, but it rounds out the visit well.
