The Strip is the old resort spine of Geneva-on-the-Lake, a short run of Lake Road lined with arcades, bars, snack counters, souvenir shops, mini-golf, and summer crowds. It can be tacky, but it is honest tacky, and that is the point.
Walk it once in daylight and once after dark if you are staying nearby. The place makes most sense when the lights are on, the grills are smoking, and everyone has agreed not to take the evening too seriously.
