Richland Carrousel Park is a cheerful downtown stop built around a hand-carved carousel. It opened in 1991 as a new carousel rather than a rescued antique, but the animals, music, and small pavilion have become a local landmark.
It will not fill an afternoon, but it gives downtown Mansfield a friendly centre of gravity. Stop in before or after a walk along North Main Street.
