SNU Stadium is the home of the Southern Nazarene University Crimson Storm football team, an NCAA Division II programme that plays in the Great American Conference. The 5,000-capacity stadium sits on the western side of campus near the Lake Overholser trail. The football season runs August through November; tickets are inexpensive and the atmosphere on a home Saturday is good.
The stadium also hosts SNU's track and field events and is occasionally used for local high-school football and community events. Adjacent practice fields and athletic facilities make this part of campus the main hub of student activity outside class hours. A small ticketed parking lot fills early on game days.
