St. Stephen's Episcopal Church

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is a small historic church in the heart of Chandler, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in the early years of the 20th century, it is a fine example of modest Territorial-era ecclesiastical architecture — a simple Gothic Revival stone building that would look at home in a rural English village but feels distinctly out of its element on the Oklahoma plains.

The church is still an active congregation. Its survival largely intact through more than a century of Oklahoma weather and economic cycles makes it one of Chandler's more quietly remarkable buildings. Exterior is accessible any time; interior by arrangement with the congregation.
