The Owl Blacksmith Shop is a small early-20th-century commercial building that operated as a working blacksmith from its construction in 1909 well into the automotive age. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an unusually intact example of small-town early-20th-century commercial craft architecture.
The building is not generally open as a museum but is visible from the street and contextualised by interpretive signage. It is a five-minute stop while exploring the Route 66 stretch through old Weatherford.
