Monteith Riverpark

Monteith Riverpark stretches along the Willamette River at the edge of Albany's historic downtown, providing a pleasant green strip for walking, picnicking, and watching the river. It's the main venue for the city's outdoor events, including the summer Timber Linn Park concerts and the Albany World Beat Festival, which brings international music and food to the riverfront each August.

The park connects to the broader riverside trail system and offers easy access to the Ellsworth and Lyon Street bridges. In summer the grassy banks fill up with locals; in the quieter months it's a peaceful spot to watch the Willamette — a proper river here, wide enough to support canoeing and kayaking.
