The Corvallis Saturday Farmers Market runs from April through November along the Willamette River waterfront, and is one of the better weekly markets in the Willamette Valley. The Willamette Valley's growing conditions produce excellent vegetables, berries, hazelnuts, and wine grapes, and the market reflects that quality — you'll find an unusual number of specialty producers. Local restaurants often source directly from vendors here.
Arrive early for the best selection. The market attracts OSU agricultural researchers as well as small organic farms and specialty food producers. It's also where the city's social life is most visible on a Saturday morning — a good place to get a sense of the community before heading out into the wine country surroundings.
