Corvallis has no commercial air service. The nearest airports are Portland International (PDX), about 90 minutes north, and Eugene Airport (EUG), about 45 minutes south. Amtrak's Coast Starlight line stops at Albany, about 10 miles east — from there, Corvallis Transit connects to downtown. Most visitors arrive by car via I-5 from Portland or Eugene, then west on US-20.
The Pacific Coast (US-101) is about 55 miles west on US-20, making Corvallis a convenient stopping point for a Coast Range crossing. Newport on the coast is the most popular coastal destination from here.
