Things to Do

Oregon City punches above its size historically. The key sights cluster around the downtown bluff and the riverfront, and most can be covered on foot or with a short ride on the municipal elevator. The End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is the main draw, but the falls, the historic elevator, the old commercial buildings, and the river locks together give the town a genuine layered character that rewards a half-day or more.
