Jud Christie Covered Bridge

The Jud Christie Covered Bridge, sometimes called the Wanich Bridge, sits on a back lane about six miles west of Benton over Little Fishing Creek. Built in 1876, it is small — only 65 feet long — and rebuilt after damage by floods in 2011, but the original Burr arch frame is preserved.

It is one of the easier covered bridges in the county to combine with the Ricketts Glen visit. The single-lane wooden span is still in use; the surrounding road network is narrow and slow, which is part of the attraction.
