Spearfish Falls sits below the canyon road near Savoy, reached by a short descent that makes the waterfall feel more tucked away than it really is. The drop is broad, cool, and shaded, with enough spray to make it a relief on a hot summer afternoon.
The trail is not long, but it can be slippery after rain. Wear shoes with some grip and leave time to linger; this is one of those Black Hills stops that works better slowly.
