The Meridian Bridge is Yankton's signature landmark: a double-deck vertical-lift bridge that once carried traffic over the Missouri River and now belongs to walkers and cyclists.
The upper and lower decks make the crossing more interesting than a simple river path. From the bridge you get the town, the Missouri, Nebraska on the far bank, and the newer road bridge downstream in one view.
