A connected stretch of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafés running east-west along Frazier Avenue on the north side of the river. Coolidge Park, the Walnut Street Bridge, and the carousel sit at the western end; a steady drift of small boutiques, breweries, and a couple of long-standing book and coffee shops fills out the rest.
The walk over the Walnut Street Bridge from downtown takes ten minutes and is the default approach. Sunday morning is when locals fill the cafés and the riverfront fountain.
