Getting There

Arlington sits midway between Dallas and Fort Worth on I-30, about 20 minutes by car from either city centre in light traffic. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is roughly 20 minutes north, and Dallas Love Field is about 30 minutes east. Both are well-served by major airlines.

The critical thing to know is that Arlington has no passenger rail or meaningful public transit. Once you leave the airport, you need a car or rideshare to reach the city. Rideshares from DFW or Love Field to Arlington are straightforward and reasonable. For getting between Arlington and downtown Dallas or Fort Worth, the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter rail runs from the nearby cities but does not have a stop in Arlington itself — the nearest stations are in Fort Worth or Irving.

On game days and event days at the stadiums, dedicated shuttle services run from DFW Airport and parking areas.
