Fort Worth Zoo

Founded in 1909, the Fort Worth Zoo is the oldest continuously operating zoo in Texas and consistently rated one of the best in the United States. The Texas Wild! section presents species native to each of the state's eco-regions; the African Savanna and Asian Falls exhibits have wide naturalistic enclosures. The zoo invested $130 million in a complete rebuild between 2018 and 2024.
