Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) is the main airport, almost equidistant from the two cities. Fort Worth's own Meacham International handles general aviation only. Allow about thirty minutes by car from DFW to downtown Fort Worth, longer in rush hour.
The TRE commuter rail runs between DFW area and Fort Worth's downtown station. Amtrak's Texas Eagle stops at Fort Worth en route from Chicago to San Antonio. Long-distance buses use the Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center on Jones Street.
Driving in Fort Worth is the easiest option. Parking is widely available in lots and garages in all three main districts.
