The White Deer Land Museum is Pampa's strongest local-history stop, housed in the restored land-company office that once handled ranching and settlement business across this corner of the Panhandle. Its exhibits cover pioneer families, ranch work, oil, tools, photographs, and the everyday material culture of Gray County.
It is not a big-city museum, but that is why it works. The building and collection explain how a cattle-and-land company became a town.
