Most travelers reach Sweetwater by car on I-20, either from Abilene to the east or Midland and Odessa to the west. US-84 connects from Lubbock and joins I-20 just west of town.
There is no useful local public transport for visitors. Plan on driving between downtown, Avenger Field, and the fairgrounds.
