Southern Utah Museum of Art, usually called SUMA, sits beside the festival theatres on the Southern Utah University campus. Its collection and exhibitions lean toward regional artists, contemporary work, and the red-rock landscapes that shape southern Utah's visual imagination.
It is a compact stop, but a useful one. After a few days of canyons and overlooks, SUMA gives you a human response to the same country rather than another viewpoint.
