The Manti Carnegie Library is one of Utah's smaller Carnegie libraries, funded by Andrew Carnegie's philanthropy in the early twentieth century. The compact Classical Revival building sits on Main Street and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Carnegie funded over 2,500 libraries worldwide between 1883 and 1929, and his gifts to small towns like Manti helped establish public reading as a civic institution in communities far from any city. The building no longer serves as a library but remains a local landmark.
