Manti Tabernacle

The Manti Tabernacle is a large Gothic Revival meetinghouse that dominates the southern end of Main Street. Built in 1878–1879 by Latter-day Saint settlers, it served as the community gathering hall for concerts, civic meetings, and church services for over a century. The building features a prominent square tower and tall arched windows of the kind found in New England church architecture.

The tabernacle has been restored and is occasionally open for public events. Even from the street, it gives a clear sense of the ambitions the early Mormon settlers had for this small agricultural town — they built in stone and brick from the start, expecting Manti to last.
