Oatlands Plantation is a National Trust historic estate with a Greek Revival mansion, old brick outbuildings, and a formal terraced garden spread across rolling Loudoun County countryside. The house dates from the early 1800s, and the grounds still carry the scale and order of a large Virginia plantation estate.
Guided tours cover the mansion, gardens, and surviving dependencies, including an early restored greenhouse. The garden is the highlight for many visitors, especially in spring, when the terraces and old plantings make the estate feel less like a preserved house and more like a lived-in landscape.
