Riverwalk Landing is Yorktown's easy-going waterfront, lined with restaurants, small shops, docks, and a promenade along the York River. After the battlefield, it feels almost startlingly peaceful.
This is the place for lunch, an ice cream, or a slow walk by the water. In warm weather the small beach draws families, and the river views help explain why Yorktown mattered strategically in the first place.
