Old Stone Church was built in 1796 and is often cited as the oldest church in continuous use west of the Alleghenies. The rough stone building and cemetery make a quiet, useful stop near Carnegie Hall.
Walk the grounds slowly. The grave markers and setting tell as much about early Greenbrier Valley settlement as the church itself.
