CityDeck

Riverfront boardwalk along the Fox River with outdoor events and restaurants

CityDeck is a half-mile boardwalk along the Fox River in downtown Green Bay, completed in 2010 as part of a waterfront revitalization effort. It is the city's main outdoor gathering space — used for summer concerts, the weekly farmer's market, winter skating, and simply walking along the river. The surrounding blocks have several restaurants and bars, making it the most animated part of the downtown area.

The boardwalk offers good views of the Fox River and connects easily to the Broadway District's restaurants and shops. In summer it fills up on evenings and weekends. The Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge nearby is named for the Packers linebacker and is a landmark in its own right.
