The Door County Historical Museum is a modest but useful stop in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Its exhibits cover local settlement, work, and community life, with an old-fashioned streetscape display that gives the museum much of its charm.
It is not as strong as the maritime museum, but it fills in the landward side of Door County's story. Drop in if you are already walking downtown or need a compact rainy-day stop.
