4 Blogs for Sucre and the Bolivian Road

A magazine written in English by young Bolivian journalists, a whole-country guide with a real Sucre section, and two travellers who slowed down in the white city

Sucre is where people going hard at Bolivia stop and catch their breath: lower and warmer than La Paz, whitewashed, full of Spanish schools and courtyard cafés, and close enough to Potosí to make the mines a day trip. The blogs here handle both halves of that — the practical business of altitude, buses and border runs, and the case for staying three weeks instead of three days.

The odd one out is Bolivian Express, which isn't a travel blog at all. It's a magazine written in English by young journalists in La Paz, and it's the only thing on this list where Bolivians are the ones doing the explaining.
