Véu de Noiva — Bridal Veil — is one of the tallest accessible falls near Cavalcante, plunging some 80 metres in a long, narrow ribbon down a sheer cliff. The trail to the base passes through cerrado scrub and arrives at a wide rocky platform from which you can swim out toward the pounding water.
The walk takes about an hour each way. The pool is cold and deep — bring sunscreen for the long sit afterwards on the rocks. Guide required.
