Getting There

Corumbá is remote by Brazilian standards — 430 kilometres from Campo Grande by road, and near the Bolivian border. It is served by daily flights from Campo Grande and São Paulo. The overnight train from Campo Grande, once the classic way to arrive, no longer runs as a passenger service. Buses from Campo Grande take around six hours. From Bolivia, the border crossing at Quijarro/Corumbá is one of the most used overland entry points between the two countries.
