Jangadas are the traditional fishing rafts of this coast, and Canoa still has locals who work with them. Short rides leave from the beach when conditions are right.
It is a small experience, but a good one if you want something more local than another buggy ride. The boats are basic, open to the wind, and close enough to the water to make even a short trip memorable.
