Nossa Senhora do Desterro Cathedral is the central landmark of old Jundiaí. It faces the main downtown streets and gives the city centre a clear point of orientation amid shops, civic buildings and everyday foot traffic.
The cathedral is not the most dramatic church in Brazil, but it belongs to the older layer of the city. Stop in while walking the centre, then continue toward Rua Barão de Jundiaí and Theatro Polytheama.
