A relaxed café-bookshop on the steep main shopping street just below Praça Tiradentes. The coffee is strong and reasonably priced, the bookshelves hold mostly Brazilian fiction and history, and the front terrace looks down the cobbled street.
Sandwiches, pão de queijo (cheese rolls), and small plates of mineiro food appear at lunch. In the evenings the back room sometimes hosts acoustic music or poetry — informal, free, mostly attended by students.
