The parish church of Antônio Dias, on a steep rise on the eastern side of town. It was the home parish of Aleijadinho — both his father, the architect Manuel Francisco Lisboa, and the master himself are buried beneath its floor.
A small museum next door (the Museu do Aleijadinho) holds the sculptor's tools, a few minor works, and reproductions of his major pieces alongside biographical material. Combined ticket with the Museu Sacred Art of Pilar. The walk between the two main church districts of Pilar and Antônio Dias also takes in some of the most photogenic streets in town.
