Ribeirão Preto is served by Leite Lopes Airport (RPB), which has domestic flights to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, and other major Brazilian cities. The airport is about 14 km north of the city centre; taxis and apps such as Uber connect the two.
By road, Ribeirão Preto is about 310 km from São Paulo city via the Anhanguera (SP-330) highway — around three hours by car. Bus services from São Paulo's Tietê terminal run frequently throughout the day and take about four to five hours. There are also direct buses from Campinas, Belo Horizonte, and other São Paulo state cities. The main bus terminal (Terminal Rodoviário) is centrally located on Rua Tibiriçá.
