Praia da Fazenda is one of the calmest ways to understand Ubatuba's northern coast. It belongs to the Picinguaba unit of Serra do Mar State Park, where protected Atlantic Forest runs down toward a wide beach, restinga, and river mouth. There are fewer distractions here than on the central beaches, which is exactly the point.
The beach is good for a slow swim, photography, birdwatching, or a flat ride along the sand on the park's cycling route. It is a long way from central Ubatuba, so treat it as the focus of the day rather than a quick extra stop.
