The Museu Municipal occupies Uberlândia's former city hall on Praça Clarimundo Carneiro. Its exhibitions are modest, but the building helps connect the modern city to its older civic centre.
It is best paired with a walk through the nearby streets and the Mercado Municipal. Together they give the centre more texture than a quick look from the car would suggest.
