Ponta da Pita is Antonina's simple but satisfying bay viewpoint, with water in front and Serra do Mar hills behind. It is the place to understand why this small town became a port: the sheltered bay opens out toward Paranagua while the mountains block the inland horizon.
It is best as a short walk or taxi ride from the centre, not a half-day destination on its own.
