The Estádio Jacy Scaff, universally known as the Estádio do Café (Stadium of Coffee), is Londrina's main football ground and one of the best-known stadiums in Paraná. Built in 1976 and with a capacity of around 30,000, it serves as the home ground of Londrina Esporte Clube and the venue for major events in the city. The name is an unambiguous statement about what built Londrina.
The stadium is in the northern part of the city, a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the centre. Matches take place mainly at weekends; check the schedule online. The stadium also hosts concerts and other events. The Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna, a 3km motorsport circuit, is immediately adjacent and hosts racing events throughout the year.
