The Nhundiaquara River is the soft centre of Morretes. It slides past colonial houses and restaurant terraces, with palms, mountain views, and enough shade to make the town feel slower than it really is.
This is where to wander before or after lunch. The walk is short, but it gives Morretes its picture: water, old plaster, green hills, and the smell of barreado drifting out of kitchens.
