Ko'Kayak paddle the first fiord of Patagonia. From their base at Ensenada, forty kilometres out the lake road from Puerto Varas towards Osorno volcano, they run sea kayak trips into the Reloncaví — two days and a night for CLP 280,000, four days combining kayak and trekking between the fiord and Parque Nacional Alerce Andino, and a four-day run into Pumalín among the hot springs.
The gentle version leaves from the middle of Puerto Varas twice a day: fifteen minutes to a quiet corner of Lake Llanquihue and two hours of flat-water paddling with Calbuco volcano in front of you, CLP 60,000. The Petrohué rafting is CLP 45,000 for a half day.
