Aracataca is a literary pilgrimage. Wandering the dusty streets, sitting in the heat, and recognising the Macondo of One Hundred Years of Solitude is the entire activity — plan a half day at most. The Casa Museo García Márquez and a slow circuit of the church, the old train station, and the canal cover everything.
