La Garrucha is a small cable car that links Jardín with the Serranías side of the valley. It was built for practical local use, carrying people and farm goods, not as a polished tourist ride. That is exactly why it is worth doing.
The crossing is short and a little rattly, with open views back to the town, the basilica towers, and the green slopes around them. At the top there is usually a simple place for drinks and snacks. If the cable car is closed, the walk up still gives you the same view, just with more sweat.
