A Tena rafting and kayaking operation that publishes prices for everything it sells, which is rare enough in Ecuador to be a reason to start here. A full day on the water is $75 or $85 depending on the river, two days is $190 to $220, and the advanced Class III+ to IV+ kayak week runs to $2,155.
They also sell the standard Quito day trips — Cotopaxi at $115, Quilotoa at $125 — which is how a lot of Tena agencies fill the shoulder season.
