Promaritime runs the navette — the scheduled service to the Îles du Salut — on a ninety-eight-seat motor catamaran. Boarding is at a quarter past eight for a half past eight departure, and the return leaves Île Royale at half past four, back in Kourou by half past five. Transfers on to Île Saint-Joseph are arranged separately.
At twenty-four euros it is the cheapest way out to the islands, and the one that runs every day regardless of who else has filled a boat.
