Koati runs a small road train around Rémire-Montjoly on themed tours — the creole houses and monuments, the people the streets are named after, the local stories — in the morning and afternoon, on reservation only. Adults pay nine euros, children six.
It is the easiest way to get the shape of a town that is mostly beaches, plantation ruins and suburb, particularly with children.
