Linden is a working town rather than a tourist destination, and there is not much in the way of conventional attractions. The Demerara River setting is pleasant, the bauxite industry history is visible in the landscape, and the town is the logical staging point for travel south toward the Rupununi savannahs and the Brazilian border.
