Antaymarca is a pre-Columbian site a short distance from Andagua, built in dark volcanic stone on the lava landscape itself. The ruins are not heavily interpreted, which makes them feel raw but also means you should not expect museum-style explanations.
Their strength is the setting. The same geology that makes the Valley of the Volcanoes so dramatic also shaped the material and look of the settlement.
