Getting There

Moray is about 50 km northwest of Cusco, a journey of roughly 1 hour 30 minutes by road. The easiest option is a taxi or private transfer from Cusco or from Ollantaytambo, which is closer at around 30 km. Negotiate the price in advance; a round trip with waiting time is reasonable and most drivers know both Moray and Maras.

Organised day tours from Cusco consistently include both Moray and the Maras salt pans, often combined with Ollantaytambo or Chinchero. These are a practical choice if you don't want to deal with transport independently.

Public transport exists but is slow: take a combi or bus from Cusco towards Maras, then continue by mototaxi or on foot to the site. It is doable but adds considerable time to the trip.
