Santa Rosa is a small and genuinely remote place. The main appeal is the landscape — forested mountains rising behind the town, wide river valleys spreading below. Visitors mostly come as part of a day trip from Jaén, or as a stop on the way to the village of Puentosillos. There are no formal tourist sights, but the town's setting and the walk to Puentosillos make it worth the journey.
